\n\tEXCLUSIVE<\/strong>: As Prime Video is preparing for the May 13 Season 1 premiere of Off Campus<\/a>, Amazon MGM Studios has been quietly casting the second installment of the college-set romantic drama series based on Elle Kennedy\u2019s bestselling book series, which received an early renewal in February<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tIndia Fowler<\/a><\/strong> (Fear Street: Prom Queen, The Agency) has been tapped for the series regular role of Grace Ivers, the love interest to Antonio Cipriano<\/a>\u2018s John Logan. She is a sociology major freshman trying to fit in at Briar University.<\/p>\n

\n\tAdditionally, Philipa Soo<\/strong> (Hamilton, Dopesick) is set to recur as Scarlett, a theatre artist who is guest directing an original play at the college\u2019s drama department.<\/p>\n

\n\tAmazon would not confirm which book in the Off Campus series Season 2 is based on. With Grace being introduced, signs point to the new installment taking on book #2 The Mistake, which follows Logan and Grace\u2019s love story. In that book, Grace meets Logan her freshman year and comes back as a sophomore with much more confidence and an no-nonsense attitude toward the star hockey player, who is best friend\u2019s with Season 1\u2019s lead Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli).<\/p>\n

\n\tSince the couple\u2019s romance does not take off until Grace\u2019s sophomore year, the series could also take a different approach, introducing them in Season 2 before they take central stage in Season 3 and base Season 2 on Book #3, The Score, whose leads, Dean (Stephen Kalyn) and Allie (Mika Abdalla), are introduced in Season 1.<\/p>\n

\n\tCreated for television by Louisa Levy<\/a>, college soap Off Campus follows an elite ice hockey team, and the women in their lives, as they grapple with love, heartbreak, and self-discovery \u2014 forging deep friendships and enduring bonds while navigating the complexities that come with transitioning into adulthood.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 1 follows the \u201copposites attract\u201d romance between quiet songwriter, Hannah (Bright), and Briar University\u2019s all-star hockey athlete, Garrett (Cameli) as they hatch a fake dating scheme to try and win over Hannah\u2019s crush Justin Kohl (Josh Heuston). The first season also introduces the rest of the quartet of hockey players<\/a> who will each co-lead a season based on a different book, Cipriano (Logan), Jalen Thomas Brooks (Tucker from Book #4, The Goal) and Kalyn (Dean), along with Abdalla as Hannah\u2019s best friend Allie.<\/p>\n

\n\tLevy serves as co-showrunner and executive produces Off Campus with Gina Fattore. Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and James Seidman executive produce for Temple Hill. Leanna Billings of Billings Productions and Neal Flaherty also serve as executive producers.<\/p>\n

\n\tEnglish actress Fowler headlined the Netflix slasher film Fear Street: Prom Queen and plays Michael Fassbender\u2019s daughter on the Showtime\/Paramount+ spy triller drama The Agency. She was repped by Untitled Entertainment, UK\u2019s Curtis Brown and Goodman Genow Schenkman.<\/p>\n

\n\tSoo, known for originating the role of Eliza Schuyler Hamilton in the musical Hamilton, recently starred on ABC\u2019s Doctor Odyssey. She is repped by UTA, Anonymous Content and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.<\/p>\n
