Scarlett Moffatt has opened up about her pregnancy struggles, revealing her first trimester was \u201chell\u201d in a candid social media post.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old, known for Gogglebox and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, shared a selfie from bed, looking exhausted as she addressed fans praising her \u201cglow\u201d.<\/p>\n

She wrote: \u201cAlso for those lovely ones saying I’m glowing, let me tell you the first trimester was HELL lol.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was driving to jobs and having mini sicks, then filming getting hot and cold flushes and migraines. <\/p>\n

“So I’m now accepting compliments lol thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n

The star, who is expecting her second child with fianc\u00e9 Scott Dobinson, said she began showing at around 14 weeks and joked about cravings for cheese in \u201cevery form\u201d.<\/p>\n

She announced the pregnancy just over a week ago in a heartfelt video featuring the couple\u2019s son Jude, who spoke excitedly about becoming a \u201cbig brother\u201d as Ms Moffatt held up her scan alongside Mr Dobinson.<\/p>\n

She wrote at the time: \u201cWe honestly can’t believe we’re writing this. <\/p>\n

“After everything, we feel unbelievably lucky to be able to say our family is growing.”<\/p>\n

She described the baby as a \u201cmiracle\u201d, adding: \u201cOne little miracle gave us Jude, and now he’s going to be a big brother. <\/p>\n

“And if there’s one thing we know for certain, it’s that he is going to be the most amazing big brother.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple said they remain \u201cgrateful, so excited and still a little bit in shock\u201d.<\/p>\n

The news carries particular significance following the pair\u2019s difficult fertility journey, having spent four years trying to conceive their first child.<\/p>\n

In a remarkable twist, Ms Moffatt discovered she was pregnant just one day before attending her first IVF consultation.<\/p>\n

Speaking previously to her I\u2019m A Celebrity campmates, she reflected on the emotional toll of trying to start a family.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen all you want is a family, it’s really hard when that doesn’t come naturally or easily, you question yourself, is it ever going to happen?\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s just really hard. It just makes life feel heavier.\u201d<\/p>\n

The TV star has also spoken candidly about suffering a miscarriage after Jude\u2019s birth.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter Jude, we tried again and got quite far along and miscarried it and it was just I remember Scott’s mam and dad took Jude for the day and me and Scott just laid in bed crying and it was just awful,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Ms Moffatt described the grief of pregnancy loss as \u201cmourning a life that you imagined\u201d, adding: \u201cIt’s just really sad.
