We got the villains and we got the good guys, and it\u2019s so boring.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tContinued Streep: \u201cWhat\u2019s really interesting about life is that some of the heroes are flawed and some of the villains are human and interesting and have their own strengths. So that\u2019s what I like about this [movie]. It\u2019s messier.\u201d <\/p>\n
\n\tLater, the subject of AI came up and whether Priestly would use it. Streep said her character would not, as she has assistants to do such work for her. This led Hathaway to reveal that she was recently hiring somebody for an unspecified job when every candidate sent back an identical thank you note \u2014 apparently all written by ChatGPT. <\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cThe first one arrived and I\u2019m like, \u2018That\u2019s so nice and so professional,’\u201d Hathaway recalled. \u201cAnd then the second one arrived and I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh no.\u2019 So I just want to warn you: If you think you\u2019re getting away with something, you might be revealing yourself. It was hilarious.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tStreep seemed rather appalled. \u201cThere are so many Anne Hathaways that you\u2019re going to apply to that you can\u2019t write it yourself?\u201d she said. \u201cThat would be an absolute killer \u2014 nobody on that list gets that job. That\u2019s just tragic, in my opinion. Don\u2019t let the human get away girls. The future is female, so you better hold on.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tStreep recently revealed she doubled her salary on the Disney sequel by originally turning down an offer to return to her iconic role. <\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cThey called me up and they made an offer, and I said, \u2018No, not going to do it,\u2019\u201d Streep said during a cast interview with\u00a0Today<\/a>. \u201cI knew it was going to be a hit, and I wanted to see if I doubled my ask \u2026 And they went right away and said, \u2018Sure.\u2019 I thought, I\u2019m 50-60 [years old] \u2014 it took me this long to understand that I could do that!
