And for anyone still deciding where to go, Aer Lingus has just made things easier.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The airline is expanding its summer schedule from this weekend, adding three new short haul routes and giving Irish travellers even more options for a getaway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A new service from Cork to the French Riviera city of <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishmirror.ie\/all-about\/nice\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">Nice <\/a>will take off on Saturday, while two new routes from Dublin to Oslo in <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishmirror.ie\/all-about\/norway\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">Norway <\/a>and Asturias in <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishmirror.ie\/all-about\/spain\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">northern Spain <\/a>are also launching for the first time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Asturias, often described as a &#8220;hidden gem&#8221;, is known for its rugged coastline, lush green landscapes and charming historic towns, while Oslo offers a mix of city life and stunning natural scenery, from its waterfront to nearly fjords.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The new routes also come as several popular seasonal destinations also return this weekend, including flights from <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishmirror.ie\/all-about\/dublin-airport\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">Dublin <\/a>to Pisa, Catania, Nantes and the Greek islands of Santorini and Corfu.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">For those looking further afield, <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishmirror.ie\/all-about\/aer-lingus\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">Aer Lingus<\/a> has also brought back its direct Dublin to Denver service for summer 2026. The US city, located at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, has become increasingly popular with travellers who enjoy outdoor adventure, hiking and breathtaking scenery.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">And there are even more new routes set to launch in the coming weeks. Flights from Dublin to Montpellier will begin on May 19, followed by a <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishmirror.ie\/all-about\/cork-airport\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">Cork <\/a>to Santiago service from June 1.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Meanwhile, a new regional route to Inverness in the Scottish Highlands will start on May 21, alongside a new service to Tours in France from June 6.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Aer Lingus is also continuing to grow its transatlantic network, with 24 routes connecting Ireland to <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishmirror.ie\/all-about\/usa\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">North America<\/a> this year. New services to Raleigh-Durham have already launched, with Pittsburgh set to follow later in May.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Reid Moody, Chief Strategy and Planning Officer, said: &#8220;Aer Lingus is launching three new routes from Dublin and Cork this weekend, alongside the return of some of our most popular seasonal destinations. Our summer schedule provides customers with even greater choice and flexibility for sun, culture and adventure closer to home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;The return of our Dublin-Denver service, together with new routes to Raleigh\u2011Durham and Pittsburgh, further strengthens our transatlantic offering for the summer season. With convenient connectivity through Dublin, Aer Lingus continues to make it easier for customers to plan summer journeys on both sides of the Atlantic.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>New European Routes<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Dublin to Asturias: <\/strong>Asturias in northern Spain is a natural wonderland where rugged coastlines meet emerald valleys. History lovers will appreciate Oviedo\u2019s UNESCO-listed pre-Romanesque architecture, while foodies can savour poured in the traditional style.<strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\"><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Dublin to Oslo: <\/strong>From its sleek architecture to its serene fjords, Oslo offers a combination of urban energy and natural beauty. Stroll along the harbour promenade, visit the iconic Opera House, and explore the world-class art at the Munch Museum.
