With the third season of \u201cDaredevil: Born Again\u201d currently in production, speculation has been high regarding who will serve as the antagonist of the new season.<\/p>\n

With Vincent D\u2019Onofrio\u2019s Wilson Fisk expected to be behind bars for at least some of the season, and possibly in hiding going by some recent photos of him dressing down and sporting a beard, who is going to step in as a foil for Charlie Cox\u2019s Daredevil?<\/p>\n

Muse is coming back with a different character under the mask, and recently showrunner Dario Scardapane was asked by The Direct<\/a> if the new run will feature any new villains.<\/p>\n

He suggests we might see several, though some of the fan theories floating around are maybe a bit too ambitious:<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, I mean, the idea of heroes and villains in our story\u2026 Somebody that you may see can evolve into something unexpected\u2026 The idea of introducing characters that we know, Bullseye being one of them, and playing around with, \u2018Should we be rooting for this guy? Wait a second, we can\u2019t do that. He killed Foggy.\u2019 So yeah, I mean, everything\u2019s on the table. I think that fan expectations get\u2026 I love reading theories. They tend to far outstrip our abilities. But yeah, we\u2019ve got a few more people heading your way.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

We do know Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist are on hand in the new run \u2013 the Defenders team possibly protecting New York City while Charlie Cox\u2019s Matt Murdock is temporarily out of action.<\/p>\n
