A EuroMillions player in Limerick has gotten the month of May off to a memorable start after winning the top prize of \u20ac500,000 in last night\u2019s Plus draw. <\/p>\n

Irish EuroMillions <\/a>players are being urged to check their tickets this morning after one lucky punter bagged a life-changing six-figure prize in Friday night’s draw<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While there was no winner of last night’s EuroMillions jackpot – which was worth a staggering \u20ac39,355,091 – in total, over 46,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions & EuroMillions Plus draws.<\/p>\n

While there was no outright winner, one Irish player will be celebrating after scooping a six figure prize. The lucky punter won the top prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw<\/a> by matching all five numbers correctly.<\/p>\n

The winning numbers for the Friday’s (May 1) EuroMillions Plus draw were: 12, 37, 38, 49, 50.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was last night that the EuroMillions Plus top prize winner bought their ticket somewhere in Co Limerick<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now Lotto<\/a> bosses have revealed The Treaty County player scooped their incredible prize after purchasing their Quick Pick ticket on Wednesday (April 29) at Tesco in the Crescent Shopping Centre, Dooradoyle, Co. Limerick.<\/p>\n

The National Lottery<\/a> are urging all players in the Limerick area to check their tickets carefully to see if they have bagged the life-changing sum.<\/p>\n

The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should make contact with the Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie<\/a> and arrangements will be made for them to visit Lottery Headquarters.<\/p>\n

National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr said: \u201cWhat a way to start the month \u2013 that\u2019s if you\u2019re a EuroMillions player in Limerick who is now holding a top prize-winning ticket!<\/p>\n

“We are encouraging all of our players in the Dooradoyle area who may have purchased their tickets for last night\u2019s draw at Tesco in the Crescent Shopping Centre to carefully check their tickets today as one person has won \u20ac500,000.<\/p>\n

“Friday night\u2019s draw saw over 46,000 players in Ireland win prizes across the EuroMillions and Plus draws with the Limerick player taking the title of biggest winner of the night.\u201d<\/p>\n

As there was no winner of the \u20ac39,355,091 jackpot on offer in last night\u2019s draw, Tuesday\u2019s jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated \u20ac50 million.<\/p>\n

The Limerick player isn’t the only punter who scooped a decent sum in last night’s draw. Also in the EuroMillions Plus draw, some 46 players matched four of the five winning numbers and will take home \u20ac2,000 each.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, there were 10 winners in the Ireland Only raffle, who will each take home a prize of \u20ac5,000. The winning Ireland Only Raffle numbers are:<\/p>\n
