But the quilted duvet you’re under and the thick socks keeping your tootsies warm should serve as a perfect reminder that the comfiest and cutest animal that needs your attention is the woolen baa-makers in Little Sheep Valley.<\/p>\n

Where Nintendogs meets Stardew Valley<\/a>, this new ranch-building game has just dropped a trailer that has melted my heart, and it’s already taking up too much RAM in my brain as we wait for its Steam release.<\/p>\n

Little Sheep Valley is the cozy evening relaxer we need<\/p>\n

Created by Redknot Games, Little Sheep Valley is the latest game to take the torch from Stardew Valley<\/a> and plunge you into a comfortable universe that needs your love and care.<\/p>\n

With its first trailer dropping on May 1, the beautiful game depicts a sheep herder who needs to upgrade their farmyard to take care of their fluffy companions and attract more woolly newcomers.<\/p>\n

Set in a Mediterranean landscape, this happiness simulator needs players to build practical features like water holes, fireplaces, pens, and grooming huts, all in a bid to make a good bit of coin.<\/p>\n

But the fun kicks in as you retire from a day’s work to take stock of the animals in your ranch. It’s your job to not get caught up in the serenity and ensure that the sheep are sheared, fed, watered, and played with.<\/p>\n

“Use a wide range of decoration and customizations to beautify your ranch and fulfill your sheep\u2019s wish for a beautiful home,” reads its Steam description.<\/p>\n

“A fireplace to marvel at night, shade during the day or beautiful flowers to admire when grazing on meadows. Your sheep will surely be thankful!”<\/p>\n

Taking ‘can you pet the dog?’ to a new level<\/p>\n

While it’s expected that you can interact with your animals in Little Sheep Valley, the biggest question looms: Can you pet the do- sheep?<\/p>\n

Unlike the gloomy RPGs that ignore man’s best friend<\/a> – we’re looking at you, Witcher – of course, you can pet your sheep.<\/p>\n

In fact, I’ve already spent two hours thinking about giving my herd a chin scratch, and I only saw the trailer 125 minutes ago (I broke the chain of thought by giving my pet pomeranian a stroke).<\/p>\n

Little Sheep Valley is now available to be added to your Steam wishlist, with a ‘Q4, 2026’ release window currently planned.<\/p>\n
