Christine McGuinness, 38, is reportedly smitten with Olympian and former Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> star Nicola Adams after declaring she’s looking for a wife following her divorce from Paddy McGuinness.<\/p>\n

The model and mum-of-three<\/a> split from the former Top Gear presenter<\/a>, 52, after 11 years of marriage in 2024, but continues to share the comedian’s lavish Cheshire home for the benefit of their children, who all have autism.<\/p>\n

Christine is still hopeful that she will settle down once again and recently admitted she’s ‘searching for a wife’, and now according to sources she’s grown close to Nicola, 43, in recent months.<\/p>\n

The pair recently attended The DIVA Awards 2026, a celebration of the achievements of LGBTQIA women and non-binary people, and insiders told the Daily Mail they appeared close.<\/p>\n

An onlooker said: “They were inseparable and looked like they were a couple”.<\/p>\n

Since the London event the women have both followed each other on Instagram, seemingly conforming that they’re in touch.<\/p>\n

It comes after Christine declared that she wants to re-marry and be in a same-sex relationship, she said: “I would love to have a wife one day, not like a legalised marriage, but like a blessing, a celebration of love and all of that, I would love to just be saying, this is my wife.”<\/p>\n

Christine also joked that she’s a “five-star lesbian” and a “giver” as she opened up about her sex-life in a candid interview.<\/p>\n

However, Christine’s family is still her priority and she explained that her romantic life and family like will remain separate for the sake of her and Paddy’s kids.<\/p>\n

She continued: “I don’t want to bring somebody into my personal life too quickly. I like the separate life.<\/p>\n

“My family, my kids, my home is up there and then I come to London, step off that train, I can work, have fun, I can sleep in and I don’t need to worry about everything.”<\/p>\n

Former professional boxer Nicola split with her girlfriend of seven years Ella Baig in March 2025 and her representatives and have said they “don\u2019t feel the need to make a comment at this time”, regarding the new dating rumours.<\/p>\n
