Marvel vet Letitia Wright has shared a new detail about her return as Shuri\/Black Panther<\/a> in Avengers: Doomsday<\/a><\/strong>. The next installment to Marvel Studios\u2019 blockbuster superhero franchise is slated to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027.<\/p>\n

What did Letitia Wright say about Black Panther\u2019s suit in Avengers: Doomsday?<\/p>\n

During a recent interview with Flip Your Wig, Wright was asked about what it was like to film Avengers: Doomsday as the newest Black Panther of the Marvel Cinematic Universe<\/a>. She expressed how great it was to be able to work with the Russo Brothers again, while also confirming that fans will get to see her in a new Black Panther suit.<\/p>\n

\u201cWorking with the Russos was a dream come true again for me in this particular position,\u201d she said. \u201cIt (her new suit) fits really nice. It looks really special. It looks great.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wright continued, \u201cIt\u2019s a special film. You know when the Russos get together, it\u2019s a special film. So, I\u2019m excited for everyone to see Shuri as a Black Panther again, and to being a part of the assemble.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition, Wright also revealed that she\u2019ll start working out again once she returns to the Doomsday set, after filming was \u201cstopped.\u201d This is seemingly in line with the previous report<\/a> about the key cast members set to return for the movie\u2019s reshoots after wrapping up production last August.<\/p>\n

Avengers: Doomsday is being directed by Avengers: Endgame filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo from a screenplay written by Stephen McFeely. The latest installment will feature the return of Marvel vets Robert Downey Jr.<\/a> and Chris Hemsworth<\/a>, with Chris Evans rumored<\/a> to appear. However, this time, the Oppenheimer actor will be playing a completely different role in the form of Victor von Doom\/Doctor Doom. The ensemble cast will also include Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Paul Rudd, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, and Danny Ramirez, along with X-Men stars Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, and Channing Tatum as Gambit.<\/p>\n
