Bindi Irwin<\/a> is slowly finding her way back to strength, and in a deeply emotional update, her family has revealed that the beloved conservationist is finally “doing so much better” after years of battling endometriosis.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old<\/a>, who has spoken candidly about the\u00a0“inescapable pain”<\/a> she endured for more than a decade, was notably absent from the 3rd Annual Steve Irwin Gala in Las Vegas on May 2. But while she couldn\u2019t attend in person, her presence was still very much felt.<\/p>\n

“Bindi is doing so much better now,” her mother Terri Irwin shared in a joint interview with her son Robert on the red carpet. “Things like a lot of travel are a bit challenging for her at the moment and so she\u2019ll be here next year to celebrate this wonderful night.”<\/p>\n

Instead, Bindi has been staying close to home in Australia, focusing on her recovery and her passion for wildlife conservation. In a touching twist, her family revealed that being at home has actually allowed her to reconnect with the work that means the most to her.<\/p>\n

“Ironically, it\u2019s less taxing for her to be home feeding crocodiles,” Terri added warmly.<\/p>\n

And while it may sound extraordinary to most, for the Irwin family, it\u2019s simply part of daily life. Robert explained that with such a vast operation to maintain, Bindi\u2019s presence is invaluable.<\/p>\n

“You gotta remember, in Australia Zoo there\u2019s 500 in our team,” he said. “There\u2019s about 500,000 acres of conservation land that we have. Someone\u2019s got to hold down the fort. So, Bindi\u2019s doing a great job at that.”<\/p>\n

For Robert, watching his sister step back into her purpose is especially meaningful, knowing how proud their late father Steve Irwin would be.<\/p>\n

“Dad\u2019s legacy\u2019s never been more important,” he reflected. “There are big issues that face the planet. Environmentally, we\u2019ve kind of got a bit of an uphill battle right now in our generation. But it\u2019s important not to lose sight of hope. There\u2019s always hope if we can work together.”<\/p>\n

The update comes just weeks after Bindi shared one of her most raw and vulnerable revelations yet, opening up about the physical and emotional toll of her illness. In a powerful Instagram post, she revealed that doctors had removed 50 lesions from her body over the past three years.<\/p>\n

“Trying to keep my invisible illness to myself after being told by doctors it was just \u2018part of being a woman,\u2019 I spent 10 years being undiagnosed,” she wrote. “As a teenager and young woman, I felt weak and deeply insecure. I was trapped in my own body.”<\/p>\n

Now a mother to five-year-old Grace, whom she shares with husband Chandler Powell, Bindi has been navigating her recovery while continuing to advocate for greater awareness around endometriosis.<\/p>\n

Her message to others facing similar struggles was heartbreakingly clear and filled with compassion.<\/p>\n

“No one deserves to suffer in silence,” she wrote. “If you\u2019re in pain, my heart breaks for you. I believe you. Please find answers. And don\u2019t give up on yourself.
