\n\tThe streamer made the announcement Monday along with the news that Season 4 of the show is now in production in Los Angeles. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEver since the initial success of \u2018The Night Agent,\u2019 I\u2019ve been obsessed with eventually delivering a proper and thrilling conclusion to the show and to Peter Sutherland\u2019s journey,\u201d said series creator Shawn Ryan. \u201cI\u2019m so grateful to Netflix and Sony Pictures Television for partnering with me on The Night Agent and for giving us the space to deliver a definitive final season to our worldwide legion of fans. We are hard at work to complete our story and to make our final season one our fans will never forget.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tGabriel Basso leads the cast as Sutherland, with Titus Welliver, Trevante Rhodes, Li Jun Li and Elizabeth Lail joining the show in Season 4. <\/p>\n

\n\tExact plot details on Season 4 are being kept under wraps. Per the official synopsis for Season 3: <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNight Agent Peter Sutherland is called in to track down a young Treasury Agent who fled to Istanbul with sensitive government intel after killing his boss.\u00a0 This kicks off a sequence of events where Peter investigates a dark money network while avoiding its paid assassins, while putting him on a collision course with a relentless journalist. Working together, they uncover buried secrets and old grudges that threaten to bring the government to its knees \u2014 and get them both killed in the process.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tRyan serves as the creator, executive producer, and showrunner on \u201cThe Night Agent\u201d via MiddKid Productions. Marney Hochman of MiddKid also executive produces along with: Seth Gordon and Julia Gunn with Exhibit A; James Vanderbilt, William Sherak, Paul Neinstein and Nicole Tossou with Project X; David Beaubaire with Sunset Lane Media, Munis Rashid, Paul Bernard, Guy Ferland, and Seth Fisher.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Night Agent\u201d proved to be incredibly popular out of the gate, with the show\u2019s first season landing in the Netflix global top 10 English-language TV chart for 17 weeks in 2023. Per Netflix viewership reports, the first season was the most-watched show on the platform for the first half of 2023, while Season 2 ranked number 9 in the first half of 2025.
