The National Lottery is urging Bank Holiday players to check their tickets carefully to see if they are now millionaires<\/p>\n

Lotto<\/a> bosses have revealed where the Lotto jackpot-winning ticket from last Saturday night’s draw, worth a life-changing \u20ac8.7 million, was sold.<\/p>\n

Ireland’s newest millionaire purchased the ticket, worth \u20ac8,726,418, in the Dublin 12<\/a> area and the National Lottery will reveal the exact retail location tomorrow, Wednesday May 6.<\/p>\n

The winner in Dublin has become the second Lotto jackpot winner of 2026 but they have yet to come forward to claim their winnings.<\/p>\n

The winning numbers for Saturday\u2019s Lotto draw<\/a> on May 2 were: 01, 07, 27, 28, 34, 42 and the bonus was 26.<\/p>\n

Lotto bosses have appealed to players, particularly those who bought tickets in the Dublin 12 area, to carefully check their tickets and if you happen to be the lucky winner, you should sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place before making contact with the Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email here<\/a> and arrange for the collection of your prize.<\/p>\n

It was a remarkably lucky weekend for Lotto players in Ireland as a Limerick<\/a> player scooped \u20ac500k in Friday\u2019s EuroMillions Plus draw, while aside from the jackpot win on Saturday night, a Westmeath<\/a> player also won big in the Lotto draw after matching five numbers and the bonus to bag an incredible \u20ac146,878.<\/p>\n

National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr said: “Did you purchase your Lotto ticket for Saturday night\u2019s draw in the Dublin 12 area? If so, you should definitely check your ticket as soon as possible! We will reveal the exact location of the winning Lotto jackpot ticket tomorrow.<\/p>\n

“Of course, that\u2019s not the only winner we are waiting to hear from following our weekend draws as a EuroMillions player in Limerick and a Westmeath Lotto player also won big. All winners should do their best to stay calm, sign the back of their tickets and contact our prize claims team as soon as possible.”<\/p>\n
