The project takes its name from the Japanese term describing sunlight filtered through leaves, using this concept as a basis for spatial and visual composition.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Presented at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/carpenters-workshop-gallery\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Carpenters Workshop Gallery<\/a><\/strong>, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/exhibition-design\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">exhibition<\/a><\/strong> extends the designers\u2019 ongoing Ishigaki collection. This configuration directs illumination toward the ceiling, producing diffused shadows that reference the circular perception of sunlight beneath the water\u2019s surface. The resulting effect emphasizes the relationship between projection, reflection, and spatial depth.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aplusacooren.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">creative duo<\/a><\/strong> known as A+A Cooren uses\u00a0bamboo stems, linen shades, and controlled pigment applications to modulate light and surface texture. The exhibition includes seven floor lamps developed in a range of tones derived from coral environments, establishing continuity between color, structure, and reference.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Komorebi is presented as a study of illumination as a spatial condition, where light, shadow, and material operate together within a defined system.
