The studio also held third place with \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/the-super-mario-galaxy-movie\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-super-mario-galaxy-movie\" data-tag=\"the-super-mario-galaxy-movie\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Super Mario Galaxy Movie<\/a>,\u201d which grossed $1.3 million in its fifth frame, bringing its total to $48.1 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tBlack Bear\u2019s horror title \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/hokum\/\" id=\"auto-tag_hokum\" data-tag=\"hokum\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hokum<\/a>\u201d was the highest new entry in fourth place with $847,000, while \u201cProject Hail Mary,\u201d distributed by Sony followed in fifth with $784,000, lifting its cumulative to $44.6 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAmong further new entries, Empyral Entertainments\u2019 \u201cPatriots\u201d debuted in sixth place with $398,000. Entertainment Film Distributors\u2019 \u201cThe Magic Faraway Tree\u201d continued its run in seventh with $365,000, bringing its total to $19.29 million. The distributor also had \u201cThe Drama\u201d in eighth, which added $299,000 for a cumulative $13.2 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tWarner Bros.\u2019 \u201cLee Cronin\u2019s The Mummy\u201d ranked ninth with $171,000, reaching $2.9 million, while Trafalgar Releasing\u2019s \u201cEugene Onegin \u2013 Met Opera 2026 (Opera)\u201d rounded out the top 10 with $108,000.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tLooking ahead, Warner Bros.\u2019 \u201cMortal Kombat II\u201d is launching wide across 300 locations, while Sony is releasing \u201cThe Sheep Detectives,\u201d also rolling out broadly. Paramount adds event feature \u201cBillie Eilish \u2013 Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour\u201d across 300 sites.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tUniversal brings music documentary \u201cIron Maiden: Burning Ambition\u201d to more than 100 locations, while Studiocanal marks the 40th anniversary reissue of \u201cHighlander.\u201d Park Circus adds a 25th anniversary re-release of \u201cA.I.
