The company’s flagship chip delivers high-performance AI processing directly on-device, maximizing energy efficiency through its RISC-V architecture and non-volatile memory technologies, being optimized for power- and space-constrained applications.

Optimized for highly compressed AI models and featuring integrated sensor fusion, ECS-DoT enables real-time processing of audio, vision, and motion data in compact, battery-powered devices. Whether extending flight time in drones, powering always-on features in augmented glasses, or enabling predictive maintenance in industrial applications, EMASS brings intelligence to designs where size, power, and latency matter most.

With a flexible SDK that supports multiple model types and a proven development-to-production path, at Sensors Converge EMASS is showing how this solution offers a fast route to differentiation and design wins. At the event, EMASS will host live, application-focused demonstrations highlighting how the ECS-DoT enables smarter, longer-lasting products without changes to batteries or enclosures. Demonstrations include a hearable application using bone-conduction voice detection in smart glasses.

EMASS is using an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) embedded directly within the frame of the glasses to enable bone conduction audio sensing. ECS-DoT detects voice activity and performs keyword spotting by analyzing subtle jaw vibrations transmitted through the temple arm of the glasses. This approach reduces the reliance on always-on microphones and enabling private, low-power voice interaction in compact wearable devices.

“Sensors Converge is the perfect stage to show how the sensor market is moving beyond simple data collection to true on-device intelligence,” says Mark Goranson, CEO of EMASS. “By processing complex AI at the milliwatt level, we’re enabling a new class of autonomous, always-on sensing that doesn’t force developers to choose between battery life and sophisticated edge performance.”

In addition to live demonstrations, EMASS Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Scott Smyser, will join industry experts for a featured session, Embodied Intelligence: When Edge AI Gets Legs, Wings, and More on May 7 at 1:00 pm on the Main Stage.
