The sexy project starts shooting later this year and will be presented to buyers at the <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/cannes-film-market\/\" id=\"auto-tag_cannes-film-market\" data-tag=\"cannes-film-market\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cannes Film Market<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u2018Oh, How Fun!\u201d follows the wealthy British Skidmore family and their privileged guests vacationing in a pristine Greek island villa where days unfold in a haze of \u201clanguid afternoons, exquisitely plated meals, infinity pools, designer kaftans, and a cherished tradition of\u2026 pranks!\u201d But when the group\u2019s \u201cmaster prank\u201d goes spectacularly wrong, the holiday spirals into chaos.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tReminiscent of \u201cThe White Lotus,\u201d the project is described as \u201ca satirical comedy of excess, entitlement and the twisted human talent for justifying anything\u201d \u2014 as well as exposes \u201cthe absurdities of wealth and a disconnection from reality.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tPapadimitropoulos has emerged as one of the leading voices of contemporary Greek cinema, with credits spanning both features and commercials. He\u2019s best known for \u2018Monday,\u201d which played at Tribeca and Toronto; as well as \u201cSuntan\u201d which played at SXSW and Rotterdam; and \u201cWasted Youth,\u201d another Toronto pic. \u201cOh, How Fun!\u201d marks his most ambitious feature project.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cI have always been interested in human behavior under pressure. In characters defined not by what they claim to be, but by what they reveal unintentionally. In systems that reveal themselves through small cracks,\u201d Papadimitropoulos said. \u201cWhat changes here is the scale of play. The openness of humour. The willingness to embrace absurdity without losing rigor.\u201d Ultimately, he sees it as a \u201cvery optimistic film. And one that is made for people to enjoy and have fun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThis ensemble comedy also stars Lena Headey (\u201cGame of Thrones, 300, The Abandons) and Angeliki Papoulia (The Lobster, Dogtooth, To a Land Unknown) alongside Makis Papadimitriou (Suntan, Chevallier, Flux Gourmet) and Spyros Dadanides (filmmaker and proud advocate for the disability community). Additional cast is currently being locked.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tLucky Number said the project \u201cuses a playful tone to deliver a razor-sharp satire of excess. It takes aim at those who, cushioned by wealth, indulge themselves at the expense of others with a mix of hedonism and self-importance, all carried by a bold, irreverent comedic voice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cOh, How Fun!\u201d is an international co-production bringing together Fenia Cossovitsa at Blonde Audiovisual Productions, Nicholas Alavanos and Dimitris Logiadis at Filmiki Productions from Greece, Fanny-L Malo at La Bo\u00eete \u00e0 Fanny \u2013 The FLM Box from Canada, and Stephen Spence at Subculture from the U.K..
