Super Furry Animals<\/a> have reunited for their first live show in 10 years, and taken to the stage in Dublin together. Check out footage and the full setlist below.<\/p>\n

The Cardiff indie icons went on hiatus in 2010 after forming and becoming key players in the \u201890s indie renaissance, and briefly reunited in 2015 and 2016.<\/p>\n

Since then, frontman Gruff Rhys<\/a> has released more material as a solo artist, and other members have started a new group called Das Koolies. Last September, they confirmed that they would be coming together for the first time in a decade for a 2026 \u2018Supracabra\u2019 tour.<\/a><\/p>\n

Dates kicked off last night (Wednesday May 6) at the 3Olypmia Theatre in Dublin, and saw the band focus on songs from their earlier discography \u2013 not playing anything from the past 23 years.<\/p>\n

They opened the show with back-to-back renditions of \u2018Wherever I Lay My Phone (That\u2019s My Home)\u2019, \u2018(Drawing) Rings Around The World\u2019, \u2018Do Or Die\u2019, and \u2018Golden Retriever\u2019, before launching into other early tracks like \u2018Hello Sunshine\u2019, \u2018Northern Nites\u2019, \u2018Play It Cool\u2019 and more.<\/p>\n

The 22-song setlist closed with \u201990s b-side \u2018The Man Don\u2019t Give A Fuck\u2019. Check out footage and more below.<\/p>\n

The tour continues tomorrow (Friday May 8) and Saturday (9) with shows at the Barrowlands in Glasgow, before heading to Llandudno, London, Manchester and Cardiff later in the month.<\/p>\n

From there, Super Furry Animals have a one-off show in Bristol in late June, followed by a slot at London\u2019s Alexandra Palace Park<\/a> and the TK Maxx Presents Live at Llangollen Pavilion in July. Visit here<\/a>\u00a0for tickets.<\/p>\n

In October, the band reissued their seventh studio album, \u2018Love Kraft\u2019<\/a>, on Cardiff independent label Strangetown Records. It included the original 12 tracks remastered alongside rarities, including lost track \u2018Rock N Roll Flu\u2019 featuring lead vocals from drummer Daf Ieuan.<\/p>\n

More recently, the Super Furry Animals explained why they turned down the chance to support Oasis and U2 on tour, as well as a slot on Glastonbury Festival\u2019s Pyramid Stage.<\/a> They also looked back on an infamous appearance on Late Night With David Letterman, in which the band \u201cgot into a row\u201d with Bruce Springsteen<\/a>\u2019s drummer, Max Weinberg, who also worked as Letterman\u2019s bandleader.<\/p>\n
