{"id":473741,"date":"2026-05-07T22:15:14","date_gmt":"2026-05-07T22:15:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/473741\/"},"modified":"2026-05-07T22:15:14","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T22:15:14","slug":"coreweave-tops-revenue-estimates-as-ai-boom-supercharges-cloud-demand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/473741\/","title":{"rendered":"CoreWeave tops revenue estimates as AI boom supercharges cloud demand"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">May 7 (Reuters) &#8211; CoreWeave Inc beat analysts&#8217; estimates for quarterly revenue on Thursday, as the specialized cloud provider tapped \u200cinto strong demand for its high-performance computing services used \u200cto train and deploy artificial intelligence models.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">The company&#8217;s shares were flat in volatile \u200bextended trading following a jump in operating expenses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">Demand for services from the so-called neoclouds, such as CoreWeave and peer Nebius, has skyrocketed as companies race to secure the computing capacity required to develop and \u200crun AI models.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">The company \u2060reported total revenue of $2.08 billion for the first quarter, compared with analysts&#8217; average estimate of $1.97 billion, according \u2060to data compiled by LSEG.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">Its operating expenses more than doubled to $2.22 billion in the quarter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">The business model for AI infrastructure is exceptionally \u200bcapital-intensive.
