\n\tSteven Knight<\/a>\u2018s Oasis<\/a> documentary will hit theaters in September, featuring the first joint interview with the Gallagher brothers in more than 25 years. <\/p>\n

\n\tDisney<\/a> has officially confirmed the doc and said it will drop for a limited theatrical run including IMAX on September 11, before moving to Disney+<\/a> later this year. <\/p>\n

\n\tReports first emerged last year<\/a> of the Peaky Blinders creator\u2019s documentary about one of the most famous British rock bands and their reunion tour. <\/p>\n

\n\tDirected by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, the feature charts one of the most\u00a0anticipated\u00a0rock \u2018n\u2019 roll comebacks in a generation. It is described by its creators as an \u201cunapologetically uplifting account of\u00a0arguably the\u00a0biggest musical event of 2025, capturing the experience and emotions of the band and their fans across the world.\u201d Knight has caught footage of rehearsal, backstage and onstage, as well as the first joint interview with the brothers in more than 25 years.<\/p>\n

\n\tKnight said: \u201cI genuinely cannot wait for the world to see this film.\u00a0I believe it\u00a0captures the spirit and emotion of a global cultural moment and does justice to the wit and genius of two exceptional people.\u00a0I wanted to tell the story of the brothers and the band, but just as important, the story of the fans whose lives the music has touched and sometimes changed forever. It is also the story of how music and songwriting can unite generations, cultures, countries and in a time of spite and division, give us all some reason to hope.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThere had previouisly been reports in the UK press that Oasis had set plans to document their reunion tour for cinema audiences. They played 17 gigs last year, beginning in Cardiff in July. Tickets were in such demand that many fans were left paying hundreds of dollars more than anticipated due to \u201cdynamic pricing\u201d on sales websites, a practice that was subsequently investigated by a government watchdog. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe as-yet-untitled doc comes from Magna\u00a0Studios\u202fand\u202fSony Music Vision.\u00a0Producers are Sam Bridger\u00a0and Guy Heeley.
