In a public spectacle, along with an online trailer, creators of the hit show announced that the universe of \u2018Money Heist\u2019 is expanding yet again. The announcement, ahead of the release of season 2 of \u2018Berl\u00edn y la dama del armi\u00f1o\u2019 or \u2018Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine\u2019, has left fans of the hit show in a frenzy, wondering what will come next.<\/p>\n

\u2018Money Heist\u2019 spin-off project announced<\/p>\n

Only days before season 2 of \u2018Money Heist: Berlin\u2019 releases, the show’s host OTT platform announced a brand new spin-off. While they did not give specific details about whether another season for the original series will be released, or if another chapter will be made, the announcement was in true \u2018Heist\u2019 style.Other than releasing a video teaser, they planned a grand stunt in Seville, Spain, to announce the upcoming project. What\u2019s On Netflix reported that on May 9, at the Guadalquivir River, a group of people trailed down the water body dressed in the iconic red jumpsuits and white masks. As thousands of people watched on, the beats of \u2018Bella Ciao\u2019, the official theme song for the show, played along with them.The video announcement also showed clips from all of the seasons of the original series, along with a lengthy caption revealing that the world of \u2018Money Heist\u2019 is not over yet. \u201cSome stories start with the perfect strike. And this one changed everything,\u201d the caption started, further adding that \u201cFrom the first heist for cash to the most artful robbery of the century, including the assault that put tons of gold from the Bank of Spain on the line, the universe of La casa de papel has never stopped growing, evolving, and surprising us. But if there\u2019s one thing that\u2019s clear, it\u2019s that the revolution NEVER ends.\u201dThe video itself concluded with \u201cThe world of Money Heist continues.\u201d While the platform has chosen to keep any other details of the show under wraps, the trailer and the public mass event have certainly built up the excitement.<\/p>\n

\u2018Money Heist\u2019 universe<\/p>\n

As of right now, the series has three branches or chapters in the franchise. There is the original \u2018Money Heist\u2019, which ran from 2017 to 2021. There is also a South Korea chapter called \u2018Money Heist: Korea \u2013 Joint Economic Area\u2019, and the third spin-off titled \u2018Berlin\u2019.
