The news comes as fans rally behind the star as tensions heighten between Katie and ex-husband Peter Andre, with I Got U even securing a new Number 2 peak on the Official Singles Downloads Chart<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Only the reigning Number 1 single, HUNTR\/X<\/a>‘s Golden<\/a>, has been downloaded more times in the UK this week.<\/p>\n

And while it sadly wasn’t enough to break the Official Singles Chart<\/a> Top 100, Katie’s no stranger to UK chart success.<\/p>\n

Her cover of A Whole New World<\/a>, released with ex-husband Peter Andre, peaked at Number 12 in 2006, with its parent album of the same name making Number 20.<\/p>\n

Then, in 2010, Free To Love Again peaking at Number 60.<\/p>\n

I Got U was written by Catriona Chinn and Craig Colton, who you might remember from series eight of The X Factor back in 2011, where he placed sixth.<\/p>\n

Reacting to the track’s resurgence this week, Katie took to Instagram Stories to say: “Thank you to everyone, my dreams have come true.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Well, for once I\u2019m speechless! Thank you so much!”<\/p>\n
