Gardai have issued an urgent missing persons appeal<\/a> following the disappearance of a man in his mid-40s over the weekend.<\/p>\n Martin Gibbons, who is 46 years old, was reported missing from Ballinrobe, Co Mayo<\/a> since Saturday, May 9 2026.<\/p>\n Gardai<\/a> have described Martin as being approximately six feet, one inch in height. He has a strong build. He is also bald and has blue eyes.<\/p>\n Unfortunately, it is not known what Martin was wearing when he went missing.<\/p>\n Gardai have reason to believe that Martin may have travelled to the Mullingar or Rathowen areas of Co Westmeath<\/a> and he has access to a grey Toyota Proace with a 232-CE registration.<\/p>\n Gardai and Martin’s family have expressed concern for Martin’s well-being.<\/p>\n Anyone with information that could assist Gardai with their appeal is asked to make contact with authorities.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana told the Irish Mirror<\/a>: “Anyone with information on Martin\u2019s whereabouts is asked to contact Claremorris Garda Station on (094) 937 2080, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.”<\/p>\n
