Tributes have poured in for the young man, 20s, since the horror smash on Friday evening.\"The<\/p>\n

A motorcyclist killed in a horror collision<\/a> in Co Wexford has been named locally as Jack Egan.<\/p>\n

Tributes<\/a> have poured in for the young man, 20s, since the horror smash on Friday evening.<\/p>\n

The collision took place on the L4016 near Glenour in Adamstown in Wexford<\/a> shortly after 9.20pm<\/p>\n

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One heartbroken friend took to social media<\/a> to pay tribute. They wrote: “Was a pleasure to know you, thoughts and prayers with his family at this sad time.”<\/p>\n

Another said: “Ride free brother”. While another pal wrote: “Shook to the core hearing about this last night. Thinking of his family and friends. He was a well known and liked young man.”<\/p>\n

Others also said: “RIP nicest person ever”.<\/p>\n

In a statement, Gardai<\/a> said they were “appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.<\/p>\n

“Any road users who were traveling on the L4016 between 9:00pm and 9:30pm on Friday 8th May 2026 are asked to make contact with investigating Garda\u00ed. Anyone with camera footage (including mobile phone or dash-cam) is asked to make that footage available.<\/p>\n

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact New Ross Garda Station on (051) 426030, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”<\/p>\n
