Joe Budden<\/a>, like many in the media landscape, is wondering whether he\u2019ll be dissed on Drake<\/a>\u2019s upcoming Iceman<\/a> album.<\/p>\n

In a recent episode of Budden\u2019s podcast, he proposed a question about the likelihood of him being dissed on the long-teased project, due May 15, ultimately drawing a range of reactions from his co-hosts. This led to Budden revealing that he had been informed that he was indeed allegedly mentioned in a track, albeit one that\u2019s not set to get an official release.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know what’s funny?\u201d Budden said. \u201cI was talking to somebody that I can’t say publicly who I was talking to. We was out having a little time, and they were telling me that they heard something that’s not coming out. And it was a \u2018naked in the hallway\u2019 reference. I was so happy that that wasn’t coming out.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cnaked in the hallway\u201d aspect of the alleged reference, presumably, is a nod to a lewdness-accusing civil suit<\/a> in which Budden ultimately persevered. In a previous podcast episode last year, Budden said that the suit stemmed from \u201ca simple sleepwalking medical condition\u201d that \u201cturned into something much bigger.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the latest podcast conversation, the Budden team jokingly proposed some possible titles for the alleged track, including \u201c6AM in the Hallway,\u201d with Budden ultimately arriving at the conclusion that he will not, in fact, be dissed on the final version of Iceman. But if he finds himself the target of some subliminal lines, he\u2019s prepared to turn that into a personal victory.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, if I\u2019m getting some subs, I\u2019m getting some subs,\u201d he quipped.<\/p>\n

For now, we have no idea what will, or won\u2019t, find its way onto Drake\u2019s Iceman, though the stakes are, arguably, higher than ever.
