Demi Moore thinks that fighting AI\u2019s<\/a> encroachment into Hollywood is a losing battle, so the industry would be better off embracing it. In her own words, \u201cagainst-ness breeds against-ness,\u201d and she intends to \u201cyes, and\u201d her way through the AI era instead.<\/p>\n At the Cannes Film Festival jury press conference on Tuesday, Moore was asked about AI\u2019s role in the film industry<\/a> today and if it should be better regulated. Her response echoed what we often hear from AI defenders \u2014 that it is essentially a fait accompli. \u201cI always feel that against-ness breeds against-ness. AI is here,\u201d she said. Fighting it, she claimed, \u201cis a battle that we will lose.\u201d Instead, Moore proposed finding ways to work with the technology, while acknowledging that there is \u201cprobably not\u201d enough regulation.<\/p>\n #Cannes<\/a> jury member Demi Moore says we need to “find ways” to work with AI: <\/p>\n “Against-ness breeds against-ness. It includes several of Moore\u2019s contemporaries such as Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, and Natasha Lyonne<\/a>, who have all suggested finding productive uses for the technology.
