Architects Miriam Peterson<\/a> and David Hills<\/a> and designers Min Chen<\/a> and Donna\u202fMcColm<\/a> have joined the judging panel for Dezeen Awards 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dezeen Awards, in partnership with Trimble<\/a>, is searching for the world’s best architecture, interiors and design.<\/p>\n

There are fewer than two weeks left until entries close! Submit your projects by 23:59 London time on Wednesday 27 May for the chance to put your work in front of our stellar panel of industry-leading judges.<\/p>\n

\"\"Miriam Peterson is a founding partner of Peterson Rich Office<\/p>\n

Peterson, founding partner of Brooklyn<\/a>-based architecture studio Peterson Rich Office<\/a>, will join the architecture jury.<\/p>\n

She draws inspiration from the urban context of New York City<\/a> to create spaces that help connect people and to their surrounding communities.<\/p>\n

The practice recently completed a revamp of the Cond\u00e9 M Nast Galleries at The Met<\/a> and designed the galleries’ inaugural show, Costume Art, which served as the theme for this year’s Met Gala<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Other recent projects include a refresh of MoMA Design Store<\/a> and a glass-lined gallery between historic Connecticut buildings<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"David Hills will judge this year’s architecture entries<\/p>\n

Joining Peterson on this year’s jury is London<\/a>-based architect Hills, a founding director of architecture studio DSDHA<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hills’ practice is interested in combining materiality, art and inventive architectural approaches, with projects ranging from special educational needs environments to sensitive historic settings.<\/p>\n

Recent projects include a Henry Moore Studios gallery revamp<\/a>, a renovation of the home of the National Youth Theatre<\/a> and a refurbishment of a brutalist office tower<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"Min Chen will judge this year’s design entries<\/p>\n

Hangzhou<\/a>-based industrial designer and founder of his eponymous studio, Chen Min Office, Min will judge this year’s design entries.<\/p>\n

Min’s practice focuses on industrial products and conducts research across materials, craft and manufacturing systems. The designer has developed projects for major international brands including Nike<\/a>, IKEA<\/a> and Huawei<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Beyond industrial design, Chen champions Chinese<\/a> craft practices as the founder of the cultural initiative Neo-o-old<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"Donna\u202fMcColm will join the Dezeen Awards 2026 design jury<\/p>\n

Joining Min is McColm, assistant director, curatorial and audience engagement at the National Gallery of Victoria<\/a> in Melbourne<\/a>, Australia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She brings two decades of experience across academic, curatorial and museum education and management roles to the jury.<\/p>\n

Alongside her work fostering relationships with NGV’s audience, McColm is part of a steering group called the International Audience Engagement Network, which aims to nurture authentic and cohesive engagement with cultural institutions.<\/p>\n
