The British waste management company argues that weak demand, regulatory uncertainty and competition from low-cost virgin plastics have rendered advanced plastics recycling &#8220;commercially uninvestable without policy changes&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The group said on 12 May that it intends to cease operations at its Quantafuel plastics-to-liquids (Ptl) pyrolysis facility in Skive, Denmark, as well as related activities in Malm\u00f6, Sweden, and Oslo, Norway, subject to local consultation and negotiation processes.
