{"id":484345,"date":"2026-05-14T13:39:19","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T13:39:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/484345\/"},"modified":"2026-05-14T13:39:19","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T13:39:19","slug":"dalata-hotel-group-opens-new-maldron-hotel-croke-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/484345\/","title":{"rendered":"Dalata Hotel Group opens new Maldron Hotel Croke Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dalata Hotel Group, the largest hotel operator in Ireland, has today opened the new Maldron Hotel Croke Park in Dublin along with development partners McAleer &amp; Rushe &#8211; the company&#8217;s 21st hotel in the city.<\/p>\n<p>Dalata said the new hotel marks another important milestone in the continued growth of the Maldron Hotels brand, which now operates 27 hotels with 4,618 guest rooms across Ireland and the UK.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past five years, Dalata has significantly expanded the Maldron portfolio, reinforcing its position as one of the leading four-star hotel brands in Ireland and an increasingly recognised presence in key UK cities.<\/p>\n<p>The new 200 bedroom hotel is located at the junction of Clonliffe Road and Jones&#8217; Road, directly opposite Croke Park Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>The opening of the new hotel has created 80 new jobs and Datala said the recruitment process placing a strong focus on community engagement.<\/p>\n<p>Designed to achieve a BREEAM &#8216;Very Good&#8217; rating, the hotel incorporates a range of environmental features including green roofs, air\u2011source heat pumps and EV charging points.<\/p>\n<p>The project also marks a first for Dalata, delivering its first hotel with zero on-site carbon emissions and reinforcing its commitment to sustainable hotel development.<\/p>\n<p>Dermot Crowley, CEO of Dalata Hotel Group, said that Dublin remains an exceptionally strong and attractive hotel market, underpinned by continued economic growth, rising employment and growing business and leisure visitor numbers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are proud to further strengthen our presence in the city with the opening of the Maldron Hotel Croke Park today, just as the GAA Senior Championship gets underway.
