{"id":484400,"date":"2026-05-14T14:17:11","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T14:17:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/484400\/"},"modified":"2026-05-14T14:17:11","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T14:17:11","slug":"man-appears-on-10-alleged-breaches-of-domestic-violence-order","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/484400\/","title":{"rendered":"Man appears on 10 alleged breaches of domestic violence order"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A Donegal man has appeared in court charged with 10 breaches of a domestic violence order.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The man, who cannot be named due to the nature of the charges, was brought to Letterkenny District Court this week.<\/p>\n<p>A Garda gave evidence of arrest, charge and caution during a brief appearance before Judge Emile Daly.<\/p>\n<p>The man was arrested at his home address on Monday, May 11 before being charged at a Garda Station in the county and conveyed to the court.<\/p>\n<p>The court heard that the man made no reply when the 10 charges were read to him.<\/p>\n<p>The accused was represented by solicitor Mr Rory O\u2019Brien.<\/p>\n<p>There were no objections to bail and the man was released on his own bond of \u20ac150 nil cash on condition that he: abide by the domestic violence order; have no contact with the alleged injured party; reside at an address given to Gardai; be contactable 24-7 by telephone; signs on once a week at a named Garda station; and remain of sober habits.<\/p>\n<p>The case was adjourned to the July 13 sitting of Letterkenny District Court. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A Donegal man has appeared in court charged with 10 breaches of a domestic violence order.
