FilmMagic<\/p>\n<p>Diesel \u2014 who gave his speech in front of co-stars Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez and <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/12\/01\/parents\/paul-walkers-daughter-meadow-pays-tribute-to-actor-on-12th-anniversary-of-his-death\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Paul\u2019s daughter, Meadow Walker<\/a> \u2014 admitted it\u2019s \u201chard\u201d to watch the 2001 film because of the memories he has of Paul, whom he still calls Pablo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s so many moments in this movie that you see, that I see differently,\u201d he explained. \u201cThe scene that you see, I see the moment Pablo told me he had a 1-year-old daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Diesel then pulled in Meadow, his goddaughter, for a hug and introduced the 27-year-old, who was 15 when her dad died.<\/p>\n<p>Diesel (seen above hugging Meadow) called Paul his \u201cbrother.\u201d BACKGRID<\/p>\n<p>Disesel (pictured above with Meadow) also admitted it\u2019s \u201chard\u201d for him to watch the first \u201cFast and Furious\u201d movies because of the memories he has of Paul. The person that was not going to let me come alone here to represent that brotherhood was Meadow Walker,\u201d he shared. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Diesel added, \u201cI\u2019m gonna go and shed a tear real quick.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy\u201d actor ended his remarks by sharing what Meadow told him earlier in the day. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe said, \u2018I\u2019m 27, and I\u2019m watching this film that my father made at 27,\u2019 and I thought, \u2018How profound,\u2019\u201d Diesel said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMeadow has been such a source of strength, and I know he\u2019d be so proud of you,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Diesel and his \u201cFast and Furious\u201d crew (all pictured above) went to Cannes to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the franchise.
