The driver of a hit-and-run in Ballymun that left a teenager in serious condition has been identified.<\/p>\n
Gardai confirmed tonight that they have interviewed the driver and recovered the vehicle involved in the collision. The investigation into the incident continues.<\/p>\n
The teenage motorcyclist was seriously injured after he was hit on Santry Avenue in Ballymun on April 6. He was rushed to the Mater Hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n
Gardai have now thanked the public and the media for their help in identifying the vehicle.<\/p>\n
A garda<\/a> spokesman said: “Garda\u00ed in Ballymun continue to investigate a serious hit-and-run road traffic collision that occurred on Santry Avenue, Ballymun, Dublin<\/a> on the night of Monday 6th April, 2026. The driver has since been identified and interviewed and the vehicle recovered.<\/p>\n “Investigations are ongoing. An Garda S\u00edoch\u00e1na would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.
