\n\tAfter two years, Drake<\/a> fans can rejoice, the embattled rapper has finally released his new album Iceman featuring cameos from Shane Gillis and DJ Akademiks. <\/p>\n

\n\tAt the end of the Iceman livestream, Drake pulled out three hard drives, and text on the screen revealed: \u201cI made this so that I could make this.\u201d Another display showed the title of two more surprise albums: Habibti and Maid Of Honour. All three LPs simultaneously dropped on Friday.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe back-to-back records arrive with mountains of anticipation, as Drake\u2019s first solo album after his 2024 feud with Kendrick Lamar, whose diss track \u201cNot Like Us<\/a>\u201d won multiple Grammys<\/a> and reframed the chart-topping rapper\u2019s public image for the worst.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter years of speculation, the album offers fans a window into how Drake felt about the highly publicized battle. The LP features production from longtime collaborator Noah \u201c40\u201d Shebib as well as a host of names including Overkst, OK, and more. Future and rising star Molly Santana show up as well. Previous episodes of Drake\u2019s livestream included the songs \u201cWhat Did I Miss?\u201d as well as \u201cNational Treasure,\u201d which both appear on the album.<\/p>\n

\n\tDrake does not mince words about his feelings on Lamar and the earth-rattling diss track \u201cNot Like Us,\u201d which cast Drake as a \u201cCertified Pedophile.\u201d An understandably angered Drake takes multiple opportunities to poke at Kendrick\u2019s public image with lines like \u201cWhite kids listen to you cuz they feelin\u2019 some guilt,\u201d as well as lines appearing to claim that 100 million streams for Lamar disappeared from the count, contributing to his ongoing claims <\/a>that UMG engaged in fraudulent bot-ing to boost the song\u2019s popularity.<\/p>\n

\n\tOther lines like, \u201cYour baby momma ain\u2019t even post a single, damn, where she at?\u201d re-hash the claims made in Drake\u2019s string of diss tracks from 2024. He also appears to claim that members of Kendrick\u2019s team attempted to bury the hatchet. \u201cYou saw my brother, you was tryna fix it, now you drop your album and you back dissing,\u201d Drake raps. <\/p>\n
