Amazfit has pushed two updates to the recently released Cheetah 2 Pro smartwatch<\/a>. The first release, which was received by most users when setting up the running wearable, was firmware version 3.8.0.5.

As reported on Reddit<\/a>, the version 3.8.0.5 release adds a Hybrid Training mode, providing marathon runners with more workout options to reduce injury and improve performance. The lactate threshold metrics, which have been rolling out to other models from the brand, are supported by this wearable. Plus, Zepp Health, the company behind the Amazfit brand, has added official marathon training plans to the smartwatch, as well as a Training Calendar, which can show your scheduled workouts. On top of this, it brings an Equipment Management function, and two new metrics: Equivalent Pace and Race Time Prediction.

More recently, Zepp Health has started to roll out firmware version 3.8.0.7 to users of the Cheetah 2 Pro smartwatch (curr. $449.99 at Amazon<\/a>). Also reported on Reddit<\/a>, this minor update is said to optimize the mid-workout voice broadcast settings. Plus, it brings further bug fixes and system stability improvements, though no further details are provided.

As usual, users of the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro smartwatch will be able to install these updates via the Zepp smartphone app. These releases are typically rolled out in phases, so some customers may have to wait a few more days to get the software. <\/p>\n
