{"id":48689,"date":"2025-09-07T06:38:07","date_gmt":"2025-09-07T06:38:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/48689\/"},"modified":"2025-09-07T06:38:07","modified_gmt":"2025-09-07T06:38:07","slug":"oliver-stark-on-9-1-1-season-9-moving-forward-from-bobbys-death","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/48689\/","title":{"rendered":"Oliver Stark On &#8216;9-1-1&#8217; Season 9 Moving &#8216;Forward&#8217; From Bobby&#8217;s Death"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAs <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/abc\/\" id=\"auto-tag_abc\" data-tag=\"abc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ABC<\/a>\u2018s <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/9-1-1\/\" id=\"auto-tag_9-1-1\" data-tag=\"9-1-1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">9-1-1<\/a> gears up for Season 9, the dearly departed Bobby Nash (<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/peter-krause\/\" id=\"auto-tag_peter-krause\" data-tag=\"peter-krause\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Peter Krause<\/a>) will still factor into the narrative, according to star <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/oliver-stark\/\" id=\"auto-tag_oliver-stark\" data-tag=\"oliver-stark\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Oliver Stark<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIn keeping with showrunner and co-creator <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/tim-minear\/\" id=\"auto-tag_tim-minear\" data-tag=\"tim-minear\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tim Minear<\/a>\u2018s theme of change and rebuilding following the <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/04\/9-1-1-peter-krause-killed-off-1236358909\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">stalwart character\u2019s shocking death<\/a>, Stark said the upcoming installment will track the rest of the 118\u2019s grief.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cI think it\u2019s not gonna be a linear path of healing, as I don\u2019t think grief is,\u201d he told Deadline during the red carpet at ABC\u2019s End of Summer Soir\u00e9e. \u201cThere are episodes that maybe feel lighter and like we\u2019re moving directly past it and then, as grief does, it sneaks up on you again. So I don\u2019t think it\u2019s an overall down feeling of the show, I think it\u2019s looking to move forward, but in a way that is respectful to the memory of the Bobby Nash character and finding creative ways for him to still haunt the narrative.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAt the end of last season, reeling in the wake of his mentor\u2019s death, Buck (Stark) felt strongly about wanting to leave his crew, calling the 118 \u201cjust a number\u201d without its inspiring leader. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tPreviewing how his oft-emotional character is processing, Stark noted, \u201cWe definitely come back to a more settled Buck, not looking to leave, and instead \u2014 I would say, probably \u2014 looking to put down more secure roots, if anything.
