\n\tAll Rights Entertainment has boarded international sales on \u201cThe Cop and the Assassin,\u201d an action thriller starring Olga Kurylenko<\/a> and Nina Bergman set to begin production in Thailand this November.<\/p>\n

\n\tKurylenko, whose credits include \u201cBlack Widow,\u201d \u201cQuantum of Solace,\u201d \u201cOblivion\u201d and \u201cHitman,\u201d will play a former SAS operative turned assassin hunting down the crime boss responsible for her family\u2019s murder. Bergman, known for \u201cDoom: Annihilation,\u201d \u201cThe Outsider\u201d and \u201cHellboy,\u201d also stars, with additional international casting to be announced.<\/p>\n

\n\tDirecting is \u00c9ric Valette, whose credits span the cult horror title \u201cMalefique,\u201d the Hollywood remake \u201cOne Missed Call,\u201d the thriller \u201cThe Prey,\u201d the action series \u201cThe Transporter\u201d and the Netflix original \u201cLupin.\u201d The film will shoot across multiple locations in the country.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe story draws Kurylenko\u2019s character deep into jungle terrain along the Myanmar border after she partners with a weary Thai cop. Their respective drives \u2013 vengeance for her, justice for him \u2013 build toward a final confrontation with the syndicate.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe have been looking for the right project for Eric and we are thrilled to collaborate with him on \u2018The Cop and The Assassin,’\u201d said producer Fabrice Lambot. \u201cHe is an exceptional filmmaker who has built a career blending visceral suspense with sleek commercial filmmaking.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film is produced by Lambot for French outfit Phase 4 Productions, whose previous titles include \u201cThe Soul Eater\u201d and \u201cSquealers,\u201d alongside Julien Loeffler and James Kermack for U.K. company Featuristic Films (\u201cBreathe Deep,\u201d \u201cSalvable\u201d), in co-production with Leo Maidenberg for Place du March\u00e9 Productions. Living Films is providing production services in Thailand, with credits on international productions including \u201cThe Gray Man,\u201d \u201cThirteen Lives,\u201d \u201cMs. Marvel\u201d and the FX series \u201cAlien: Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s exciting to shoot an action noir film in Thailand with fleshed out characters and a strong sense of the country\u2019s vibe and energy,\u201d Valette said.<\/p>\n
