A bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man accused of charges related to an alleged incident in the early hours of March 27 in Cork, where he was charged with having equipment for a burglary and trespassing at a container in Tivoli.<\/p>\n
Aiden Hulme, aged 49, with an address at Bellurgan, Dundalk, Co Louth, was due to turn up at Cork District Court on Wednesday but failed to appear.<\/p>\n
On the application of Sergeant Gear\u00f3id Davis, Judge Catherine Ryan issued a warrant for his arrest.<\/p>\n
He was refused bail when first before Cork District Court, but appealed to the High Court and was given bail on conditions.<\/p>\n
He was required to appear at Cork District Court in person, but failed to appear.<\/p>\n
The first charge against him states that on March 27, at M8 Ballinglanna North, Co Cork, in the district court area of Fermoy, when not at his place of residence, he did have in his possession articles, namely ladder, ropes, harness, socket set, torches, and reciprocating saw, with the intention that it be used in connection with burglary.<\/p>\n
