\n\tWith Prime Minister Keir Starmer facing a rebellion and resignation calls from within his own party, Sky\u2019s comedy series featured leadership hopefuls gatecrashing 10 Downing Street.<\/p>\n

\n\tWes Streeting (Jack Shep), Andy Burnham (Paddy Young), and \u201croom for a red one\u201d Angela Rayner (Celeste Dring) all laid claim to Prime Ministerial office, while Annabel Marlow\u2019s Liz Truss pounced from the cupboard to demand \u201canother chance.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe pretenders interrupted Starmer (George Fouracres) as he was watching Eurovision, which was broadcasting on BBC One at the same time as SNL UK. It\u2019s the \u201cone show I enjoy,\u201d Starmer moaned.<\/p>\n

\n\tSaturday Night Live UK<\/a>\u2018s Season 1 finale was hosted by Sex Education and Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa<\/a>, who picked up the baton from last week\u2019s guest presenter Hannah Waddingham. Gatwa joked that \u201cI dont understand it either\u201d after he regenerated into Billie Piper in his final episode of Doctor Who.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs Saturday Night Live UK\u2018s first season comes to an end, Sky will be able to reflect on a show that has confounded expectations, produced viral moments, and provided some of the Comcast-owned network\u2019s highest ratings of the year. The series was renewed for a second season<\/a>, which will premiere in September.<\/p>\n
