\n\tThe cold open of the season finale of \u201cSaturday Night Live U.K.\u201d on May 16 saw the residence of Britain\u2019s Prime Minister invaded by rivals from his own party, as well as a former resident.<\/p>\n
\n\tIt started with Wes Streeting (played by Jack Shep), the former health secretary, being shown around No. 10 Downing Street by a real estate agent. They were interrupted by former Conservative Prime Minister Liz Truss bursting out of a cupboard to say: \u201cGive me another chance.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tStreeting added: \u201cIt\u2019s an amazing property. There must be some kind of catch.\u201d To which the real estate agent responded, \u201cYeah, there is a bit of a catch. If you live here, everyone in the country is going to hate you.\u201d \u201cThat\u2019s okay,\u201d Streeting said. \u201cI don\u2019t have any feelings.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tThey were joined by Andy Burnham (Paddy Young), the mayor of Greater Manchester. \u201cIt\u2019s time for a change, for an outsider, a disrupter,\u201d Burnham said. To this Streeting responded, \u201cWeren\u2019t you an MP for 16 years? You voted for the Iraq War.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tNext to arrive was Angela Rayner (Celeste Dring), the former deputy prime minister before she resigned due to her failure to pay a property tax called stamp duty. She asked, \u201cHow much do you reckon stamp duty is in a place like this? And would I have to pay it.\u201d <\/p>\n
\n\tAs they argue, Prime Minister Keir Starmer<\/a> (George Fouracres) comes down the stairs in his red nightdress to complain about the noise. He says he\u2019s watching \u201cEurovision<\/a>.\u201d \u201cThis is the one program I still enjoy. Every time I turn on the news, it\u2019s just a sad picture of me. \u2018Eurovision\u2019 is the only show left with any integrity. I love how they stood up to Russia after they invaded Ukraine.
