\n\tWith a line like this coming out of Will Ferrell and Paul McCartney<\/a>\u2018s mouths, the Saturday Night Live cast almost didn\u2019t stand a chance.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Saturday night (May 16), SNL musical guest McCartney put his comedic timing to the test starring as an auto mechanic alongside body shop co-workers Will Ferrell and Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez in the live sketch \u201cMechanics.\u201d The three are a trio of guys telling a primed to be taken advantage of couple (Mikey Day, Ashley Padilla) what\u2019s allegedly wrong with their car during what was supposed to just be a routine oil change.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAnd now\u2026 WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TALKING TO A MECHANIC,\u201d an opening slate says onscreen ahead of Ferrell leading the way, speaking words that pass right through the blank stares of Day and Padilla \u2014 some nonsense that somehow involves a \u201cdong rod gasket\u201d that\u2019s Swiss cheese, Apple Bottom jeans with the boots with the fur (that\u2019s a Flo Rida reference, folks) and a shot \u201csprog box.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHern\u00e1ndez hops in with support here, scratching oil off his hands on his backside before offering a handshake, a frantic description of what he saw under the hood en espa\u00f1ol, and awfully sexual sounds that are supposedly similar to the concerning noises he heard the car emit. <\/p>\n

\n\tThey recommend getting it fixed immediately and coming back every six days. Or just replacing all the parts. \u201cYour oil is fine,\u201d Ferrell assures them. \u201cWe keep the oil. We rebuild everything around it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen the cost of this all sounds a bit much, chief mechanic Nigel (McCartney) walks in to confirm the diagnosis and give them a payment plan option.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cListen, your tipsy-whipsies are all dangly-doodly, and the spriggly-wiggly\u2019s gone crumpet,\u201d McCartney says, letting loose a high-pitched squeal and pointing out, \u201cPlus, the steering wheel\u2019s on the wrong bloody side.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe room mostly keeps a straight face up until Ferrell and McCartney each calmly explain the one way out of this unexpected debt: \u201cYou can pay in ass.\u201d<\/p>\n
