David Beckham<\/a> is Britain\u2019s first billionaire sportsman after he and his wife, Victoria Beckham<\/a>, doubled their wealth in the last year, according to The Sunday Times Rich List.<\/p>\n

The celebrity couple now have a combined fortune of \u00a31.185 billion (\u20ac1.363 billion), a significant increase to the \u00a3500 million estimated net worth they had on the 2025 list.<\/p>\n

The major uptick in wealth is attributed to David Beckham\u2019s investments in the US, as the signing of Lionel Messi<\/a> to Inter Miami until 2028 has lifted the value of his stake in the club, and a vast property development adjoining Inter\u2019s home has provided another windfall.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile revenues at Victoria Beckham\u2019s eponymous fashion line have topped \u00a3100 million.<\/p>\n

The revelation comes amid the couple\u2019s feud with their eldest son<\/a> Brooklyn.<\/p>\n

They were accused by Brooklyn of \u201ctrying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn\u2019t stopped\u201d in a lengthy social media post in January.<\/p>\n

He also alleged his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, the daughter of billionaire Nelson Peltz, had been \u201cdisrespected\u201d by his family.<\/p>\n

Oasis<\/a> stars Liam<\/a> and Noel Gallagher<\/a> are newcomers to the rich list following their sell-out tour last year<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The pair have an estimated joint wealth of \u00a3375 million as a result of the 41 shows they performed between July and November.<\/p>\n

While fans were excited at the reunion, some were outraged after some standard tickets in the UK and Ireland jumped to more than \u20ac400.<\/p>\n

The controversy prompted the British government and competition watchdog to pledge to look at the use of dynamic pricing.<\/p>\n

Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight<\/a> is currently working on a documentary about the reunion concerts, which will screen in cinemas and air on Disney+.<\/p>\n

Glastonbury<\/a> organiser Emily Eavis and her family are also newcomers to the list, with an estimated wealth of \u00a3400 million.<\/p>\n

Eavis\u2019s father Michael hosted his first music festival at Worthy Farm in 1970. The business is now partly owned by family trusts.<\/p>\n

The billionaire Hinduja family tops the annual list for the fourth consecutive year, following the death of patriarch Gopichand Hinduja last year.<\/p>\n

His children Sanjay and Dheeraj Hinduja and their family now inherit the top spot, with the list putting their wealth at \u00a338 billion, up from \u00a335.3 billion last year.<\/p>\n

Musicians Elton John, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Brian May, theatre impresario Andrew Lloyd-Webber, author JK Rowling, make-up guru Charlotte Tilbury and racing driver Lewis Hamilton are also among the household names who appear in the annual survey.<\/p>\n

Britain\u2019s King Charles also appears on the list, with an estimated wealth of \u00a3680 million.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, boxer Tyson Fury debuts in this year\u2019s 40 under 40 list, with an estimated wealth of \u00a3162 million.<\/p>\n

He is bested by musicians Ed Sheeran, with \u00a3410 million; Harry Styles, with \u00a3235 million; and Adele, with \u00a3172 million.<\/p>\n
