For the next film, Beach Read, heading to the big screen, people already had a lot to say about the cast. Thankfully, the noise isn\u2019t bothering Henry too much. \u201cI also have to sit back and let it unfold,\u201d Henry told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=LrJBIpguf3s\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Today<\/a> this morning. \u201cIt is our baby \u2014 the readers\u2019 and my baby \u2014 but it\u2019s also the filmmakers\u2019 baby and the studio\u2019s baby, and I\u2019m along for the ride with the readers and we just have to trust the vision.\u201d Many fans were unhappy with Patrick Schwarzenegger as Gus Everett,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/article\/patrick-schwarzenegger-beach-read-gus-everett-backlash\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">creating<\/a>\u00a0the hashtag #NotMyGus, and saying that he was not who they envisioned for the character. Phoebe Dynevor stars opposite Schwarzenegger as January Andrews.<\/p>\n<p class=\"clay-paragraph\" data-editable=\"text\" data-uri=\"www.vulture.com\/_components\/clay-paragraph\/instances\/cmpd7d1sr00193b7c02ztj8vr@published\" data-word-count=\"69\">Regardless of the backlash, Henry has full faith in the creative team for bringing her book to life. \u201cYulin Kuang, our writer-director, is so brilliant and I know she\u2019s gonna do an amazing job,\u201d she added. \u201cI also just keep getting emails about everyone else that they\u2019re locking in, which is not public news yet, so I can\u2019t share, but I\u2019m getting really excited.
