{"id":49485,"date":"2025-09-07T17:07:07","date_gmt":"2025-09-07T17:07:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/49485\/"},"modified":"2025-09-07T17:07:07","modified_gmt":"2025-09-07T17:07:07","slug":"chelsea-loanee-will-never-trigger-70m-buy-clause-as-loan-obligation-conditions-revealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/49485\/","title":{"rendered":"Chelsea loanee will &#8216;never&#8217; trigger \u00a370m buy clause as loan obligation conditions revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bayern Munich\u2019s honorary president says there\u2019s no chance that Nicolas Jackson will meet the conditions to join the club permanently from Chelsea.<\/p>\n<p>Uli Hoene\u00df appeared as a guest on the 30th anniversary edition of the \u2018Doppelpass\u2019 talk show on SPORT1 in Germany on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>During his appearance, he discussed Bayern\u2019s recent transfer business, as well as the inflated market in today\u2019s game.<\/p>\n<p>He labelled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/news\/biggest-summer-spenders-2025-transfer-window-football\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>the Premier League\u2019s record spending<\/strong><\/a> \u201ccompletely crazy\u201d and lamented the transfer business conducted in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n<p>The 73-year-old is quite an outspoken character, which does make for some entertainment, which he certainly provided on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n<p>The signing of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/chelsea\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Chelsea<\/strong><\/a> striker Jackson was a hot topic, with Bayern reportedly paying a record \u20ac16.5million (\u00a314.3million) loan fee for the player.<\/p>\n<p>There is also an obligation to buy for \u20ac80million (\u00a369.3million) if certain requirements are met, potentially taking the deal up to a whopping \u00a383.6million.<\/p>\n<p>However, Hoene\u00df has revealed what the requirement is, and eased the concerns of uncertain supporters by claiming Jackson will \u201cnever\u201d meet the conditions of the agreement with Chelsea.<\/p>\n<p>The experienced German executive also confirmed that Jackson and his agent paid \u20ac3million (\u00a32.6million) to reduce the loan fee, meaning the Senegalese is effectively a \u20ac13.5million signing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MORE ON CHELSEA ON F365<br \/>\ud83d\udc49\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/news\/main-factor-chelsea-star-declines-saudi-wage-five-times-current-salary\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u2018Main factor\u2019 revealed as Chelsea star \u2018immediately declines\u2019 Saudi wage \u2018five times his current salary\u2019<\/a><br \/>\ud83d\udc49\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/news\/premier-league-team-season-25-26\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Premier League team of the 2025\/26 season so far has no Liverpool players<\/a><br \/>\ud83d\udc49\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/news\/ranking-feature-top-20-premier-league-youngsters\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Top 20 Under-21 Premier League players in 2025\/26: Dorgu 19th, Nwaneri 7th, no Ngumoha<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf anyone\u2019s upset about this loan fee: It\u2019s not \u20ac16.5million because the player and his agent paid \u20ac3million,\u201d Hoene\u00df revealed. \u201cThat means the player costs \u20ac13.5million.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd that\u2019s not a problem at all, because if I buy a player for \u20ac80million, it also costs \u20ac16million in depreciation per year, so it\u2019s \u20ac13million.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe big money only has to be paid if he starts 40 games,\u201d Hoene\u00df added. \u201cHe never does that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hoene\u00df believes Bayern are \u201cthe real winners\u201d of the summer transfer window and said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/tag\/florian-wirtz\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Florian Wirtz<\/strong><\/a> would\u2019ve been a nice signing, but there was never any intention to pay \u20ac150million.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe fact is, we at FC Bayern are very happy,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019re the real winners of this summer\u2019s transfer market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOf course, we would have liked to have Wirtz. But we would never have bought him for 150million.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bayern also missed out on Nick Woltemade, but again, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/news\/summer-transfer-window-2025-most-expensive-players-biggest-deals\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>the player was not worth the \u20ac90million he cost Newcastle United<\/strong><\/a>, so Hoene\u00df isn\u2019t bothered.<\/p>\n<p>He continued: \u201cWe would have liked to have Nick Woltemade. We offered 55 million, Stuttgart wanted 75. Now they\u2019ve apparently sold him to Newcastle for almost 90 million euros.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut what Newcastle is doing has nothing to do with football.
