The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thisiscolossal.com\/tags\/pat-perry\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Detroit-based artist<\/a> recently launched \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.liminalbingo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Liminal Bingo<\/a>,\u201d a communal photo hunt designed specifically \u201cfor people ages 5 to 105 living in boring places or exciting places.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Open to anyone with an internet connection, the project has a simple premise: grab a camera (phones are okay, although Perry encourages film if possible), and snap photos of his illustrated prompts. When you\u2019ve collected five in a row, you\u2019ve got a bingo!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/perry-2.jpg\" class=\"swipebox\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-474240\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1249\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/perry-2.jpg\" alt=\"a grid of six small drawn prompts for photos by Pat Perry\" class=\"wp-image-474242\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The instructions, though, are less straightforward than the premise, requiring participants to gather with friends, speak to passersby, and generally get out into the world and interact with one another. One asks you to capture a handshake with a stranger as you both wear sunglasses. Another invites you to send a landscape photo to someone you miss and share the evidence via screenshot. When you\u2019ve collected five, post your images on Instagram or send them to Perry via email.<\/p>\n<p>Photos submitted by August will be considered for inclusion in a fall exhibition at Hashimoto Contemporary in New York and a potential book.
