THERE is a brand-new millionaire in the heart of East Limerick<\/a> this Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

The parish of Cappamore is buzzing with excitement after one Lotto player struck gold in Saturday night\u2019s Lotto Plus Raffle event.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The winning ticket, worth an incredible \u20ac1,000,500, was purchased on the day of the draw at Centra, Moore Street in the village.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the win, store owner, Mark Lenihan, said: \u201cWe\u2019re absolutely delighted \u2013 this is huge for us, for the team, and for Cappamore!”<\/p>\n

He said it\u2019s their first ever big National Lottery win.<\/p>\n

“To think that a life-changing ticket was sold right here in our store, is just incredible. Massive congratulations to the winner \u2013 we\u2019re thrilled for you and wish you all the very best!\u201d said Mr Lenihan.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Lotto Plus Raffle usually sees between 60 and 120 winners of \u20ac500 in each draw.<\/p>\n

However, Saturday night\u2019s draw included a special event: every ticket with the winning raffle number was entered into a once-off random draw, where one ticket was selected to win an additional \u20ac1,000,000. While all 81 ticketholders with the winning number received the standard \u20ac500 prize, one fortunate Limerick player walked away with a life-changing total of \u20ac1,000,500.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The winning raffle number was: 3184\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0It wasn\u2019t the only big Lotto win of the night as a Dublin player bagged themselves the Match Five + Bonus prize worth \u20ac404,840. Their winning ticket was bought on Thursday, September 4 from Spar, 13 South Circular Road, Dublin 8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Both winners are advised to sign the back of their tickets and to keep them safe. They should make contact with our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made to collect their life-changing prizes in Lottery HQ.\u00a0<\/p>\n
