{"id":495424,"date":"2026-05-21T07:35:12","date_gmt":"2026-05-21T07:35:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/495424\/"},"modified":"2026-05-21T07:35:12","modified_gmt":"2026-05-21T07:35:12","slug":"jeff-probst-spoils-survivor-50-fire-making-challenge-live","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/495424\/","title":{"rendered":"Jeff Probst Spoils Survivor 50 Fire-Making Challenge Live"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/jeff-probst\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jeff-probst_1\" data-tag=\"jeff-probst\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jeff Probst<\/a> mistakenly revealed who won the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/survivor\/\" id=\"auto-tag_survivor_1\" data-tag=\"survivor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Survivor<\/a> 50 fire-making challenge during the live finale episode on Wednesday night, spoiling the top three of the season for viewers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tDuring the season finale of the reality series, Rizo Velovic was brought out onto the stage prematurely before his fire-making competition against Jonathan Young was shown in the episode. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tEarlier in the show\u2019s episode, Aubry Bracco triumphed in the final immunity challenge and chose Velovic and Young to compete in the iconic Survivor challenge, which determines the final three competitors of a season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tProbst pronounced that Velovic had become \u201cthe final member of our jury,\u201d as the audience members barely clapped and the rest of the already-eliminated contestants and jury members looked visibly confused.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cWhat just happened?\u201d Probst questioned, to which the eliminated Survivor contestants told the host and showrunner that \u201cfire hasn\u2019t happened yet\u201d in the episode. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cI\u2019m not even sure what\u2019s happened,\u201d Probst quipped as he sent the show to a commercial break. Once he returned, he shed light on what really played out live on the Survivor 50 finale.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cI love doing live television. In case you\u2019re confused, this is what happened,\u201d Probst said. \u201cWe were going to show you fire-making, and then have the loser of fire-making, Rizo, come out and talk about how charming he is and if how he had practiced fire-making, maybe he would have won. Instead, we did a Survivor twist. It\u2019s the last twist of the season. We called it a peak into the future. So now, we\u2019re gonna watch Rizo lose in fire to Jonathan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe episode then showed the fire-making challenge, where Young successfully sparked before Velovic, securing his spot in the final three of the season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tUltimately, it was Bracco who was <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/lists\/survivor-all-winners-list\/season-50-in-the-hands-of-the-fans\/\">named the winner of Survivor 50<\/a>, winning the show with a total of eight jury votes.
