\n\tThe \u201cLife Is Strange<\/a>\u201d TV series adaptation at Amazon Prime Video<\/a> is building out its main cast. <\/p>\n

\n\tVariety has learned exclusively that Tom Cullen<\/a>, Leisha Hailey<\/a>, Ra\u00fal Castillo, and Owen Teague are all set to star in the show alongside previously announced leads Maisy Stella and Tatum Grace Hopkins<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe show is based on the hit videogame franchise of the same name. It was first reported to be set up at Prime Video<\/a> in September 2025.<\/p>\n

\n\tPer the official logline, the show follows Max (Hopkins), \u201ca photography student, who discovers she can rewind time while saving the life of her childhood best friend, Chloe (Stella). As she struggles to understand this new skill, the pair investigate the mysterious disappearance of a fellow student, uncovering a dark side to their town that will ultimately force them to make an impossible life or death choice that will impact them forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCullen will play Mark Jefferson, Max\u2019s teacher, while Hailey will play Joyce Price, Chloe\u2019s mother. Castillo is set to play David Madsen, Chloe\u2019s stepfather. Teague will play Frank Bowers, a local drug dealer. <\/p>\n

\n\tCullen will next be seen in Season 3 of HBO\u2019s \u201cGame of Thrones\u201d prequel series \u201cHouse of the Dragon.\u201d His other TV credits include \u201cDownton Abbey,\u201d \u201cTrespasses,\u201d \u201cMudtown,\u201d and \u201cBlack Mirror.\u201d He has also starred in films such as \u201cWeekend,\u201d \u201cBlack Church Bay,\u201d and \u201cThe Last Days on Mars.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHailey is best known for her role in the hit Showtime series \u201cThe L Word\u201d and the followup series \u201cThe L Word: Generation Q.\u201d She has also appeared in shows like \u201cSilicon Valley,\u201d \u201cBosch,\u201d and \u201cCSI.\u201d She is an accomplished musician to boot, having co-founded the band The Murmurs and Uh Huh Her. <\/p>\n

\n\tCastillo previously starred in the critically-acclaimed HBO series \u201cLooking\u201d and the followup movie at the premium cabler. He will appear in Season 3 of \u201cThe Walking Dead: Dead City\u201d at AMC and has recently been in shows like \u201cTask\u201d at HBO and \u201cAmerican Horror Stories\u201d at Hulu. He has starred in films including \u201cCha Cha Real Smooth\u201d and \u201cArmy of the Dead.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tTeague has also appeared in both \u201cTask\u201d and \u201cBlack Mirror,\u201d as well as shows like \u201cMrs. Fletcher\u201d and \u201cThe Stand.\u201d Teague\u2019s film credits include both \u201cIt\u201d and \u201cIt: Chapter Two,\u201d \u201cKingdom of the Planet of the Apes,\u201d and \u201cYou Hurt My Feelings.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tCullen is repped by United Agents and Telescope Agency. Hailey is repped by Untitled Entertainment and Schreck Rose. Castillo is repped by CAA, JWS Entertainment, and Goodman Genow. Teague is repped by CAA and Jackoway Austen Tyerman. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cLife Is Strange\u201d is created by Charlie Covell, who also serves as executive producer and showrunner. Mackenzie Dohr will write and executive produce. Karyn Kusama will direct the first two episodes and executive produce under her Familystyle production banner. Dmitri M. Johnson, Michael Lawrence Goldberg, and Timothy I. Stevenson will executive produce via Story Kitchen. Jen Roskind also executive produces, as do Dani Gorin and Natalie Berkus of LuckyChap.
