\n\tConsequence has a message for his former G.O.O.D. Music labelmate Pusha T<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Queens rapper stopped by Hot 97 recently to talk about the state of hip-hop with DJ Drewski by sharing alleged text messages from a group chat that apparently included himself, Ye (formerly known as Kanye West<\/a>), and the Virginia MC before sending Push a message and abruptly walking out of the interview, leaving Drewski stunned in a clip that has surfaced on social media captured by Glock Topickz<\/a>\u00a0on Twitter.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cToday we need to address what\u2019s going on in hip-hop,\u201d Cons proclaimed as the interview began. \u201cToday I need to share with New York, with Hot 97, the home of hip-hop, and the rest of the world. \u2026 I\u2019m really high with integrity and the truth, and this summer we didn\u2019t have a \u2018song of the summer.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe rapper said we didn\u2019t have a song of summer because of Pusha T\u2019s comments about the state of his relationship with Ye and accused Push of making those comments simply to help promote Let God Sort Em Out<\/a> during the project\u2019s rollout. \u201cOne of the reasons why we didn\u2019t have a \u2018song of the summer,’\u201d he said, \u201cIs because the sound bite of the summer was \u2018I don\u2019t respect Kanye as a man\u2019 performed by \u2014 and I\u2019mma emphasis \u2018performed\u2019 by \u2014 Pusha T and his brother Malice, known as the Clipse.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tConsequence then had DJ Drewski read the alleged text messages from the aforementioned group chat from around the time DONDA<\/a> was released in 2021.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIn the diss record to\u00a0Drake<\/a>, you still not 100 percent in the right with me even though he should not have spoke on your wife,\u201d Drewski read aloud, allegedly in messages from Ye. \u201cYou not perfect either. The record still caused me mental harm, so that meant when you shot, you hit me and my family also. We have to protect my brain at all cost, because I have the vision. It\u2019s accountability, you not wrong but you not 100 percent right either.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYeah I agree, I\u2019m not perfect\u2026,\u201d Pusha allegedly replied. \u201cI never learned how to turn the other cheek when disrespected. It\u2019s how I was raised. Martin Luther King wasn\u2019t respected in my house either. Hurting you or your family wasn\u2019t my intention. Protecting my family and the brand was the only mission. Sorry for any trauma caused by me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tConsequence then went on to call the \u201cNumbers on the Board\u201d rapper hypocritical because he allegedly apologized to Ye even though Push has recently stated that he has no more respect for his former collaborator and friend.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cRight, so he apologized for basically dragging Kanye into the beef with Drake,\u201d he said. \u201cHe actually said in his own words, \u2018Sorry for any trauma I\u2019ve caused you and your family.\u2019 So, where I\u2019m from, if you\u2019re willing to apologize to someone, that would mean that you respect them, right? So if you\u2019re running a whole rollout based on not respecting someone and you\u2019re a man, but you know that you already apologized to this man, then are you being honest with your base? Are you being honest to the world? Is this a real feeling or is this contrived for marketing?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe continued by comparing Push\u2019s older brother Malice to Martin Luther King Jr., before goading both members of the Clipse to meet him \u201coutside\u201d and taking a shot at their drug-dealer rap personas.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAnd another thing I wanna point out in the text is that he said, \u2018Martin Luther King wasn\u2019t respected in his household,’\u201d he told Drewski. \u201cFrom everything I\u2019ve seen, isn\u2019t Malice engulfed in the same scripture as Martin Luther King? And I heard homie say that he\u2019s the devil and all this, so maybe you don\u2019t respect your brother either. Maybe it\u2019s whatever for fame, maybe it\u2019s whatever to feel like you\u2019re the top guy, but you know what makes you the top guy out here? A hit record.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe added: \u201cSo, I\u2019mma say this and I\u2019mma leave, \u2018I\u2019m outside. Anybody got anything to say to me, you can take your brother out the pulpit and find me in the streets. I\u2019m from the same streets as the Supreme Team, I\u2019m from the same streets as Rick and Alpo and AZ, you know, real drug dealers. Remember those? One,’\u201d before walking off.<\/p>\n

\n\tDrewski posted a reel<\/a> on his Instagram of himself standing behind a console as he awaits Consequence\u2019s arrival with the text that says, \u201cHe doesn\u2019t know it yet, but the guest he\u2019s interviewing is going to get up and walk out.\u201d And in the accompanying caption, the Hot 97 DJ and host wrote, \u201cI\u2019ve seen guests walk out in other interviews, but it was a first for me. N I didn\u2019t even say anything wrong,\u201d while later taking to the comments asking if he should put the interview out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAs of right now, the interview\u2019s YouTube link is set to private<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tPush and Consequence\u2019s issues go back to around 2011 when the latter accused the former of biting his rapping style<\/a> while feuding with both Ye and Push<\/a> at the time and dropping the diss track \u201cThe Plagurist Society<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
