Whether you\u2019re in the mood for a classic detective drama<\/a> or something the whole family can enjoy, we\u2019ve got all the best new shows here in one place. <\/p>\n

For starters, a Midsomer Murders-esque series is finally returning and Anna Maxwell Martin<\/a> is starring in a drama we\u2019ve been waiting ages for (no, it\u2019s not Motherland!). We\u2019ve also got treasured wildlife series to escape in, Tina Fey\u2019s brilliantly relatable comedy drama and so much more. So, sit back and relax as these are the 7 fantastic shows to watch this week on ITV, Netflix, the BBC and more.<\/p>\n

The 1% Club Kids Special \"this<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re a fan of The 1% Club, you\u2019ll know it\u2019s more of an adults-only affair (unless you\u2019ve got a young clever clogs in your family) \u2013 until now. This one-off kids special lets nine to 15-year-olds have a go at answering a series of increasingly difficult logic-based questions in a bid to make it into the 1% club. It’s the perfect Sunday night family entertainment. Arriving on ITV1 and ITVX at 8pm on Sunday 24th May.<\/p>\n

This Midsomer Murders-esque series takes us to the fictitious New Zealand town of Brokenwood where Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Shepherd (Neill Rea) and Detective Kristin Sims (Fern Sutherland) are the unlikely duo who team up to investigate vineyard deaths, local scandals, stag party disappearances and more. After 11 brilliantly gripping series, a 12th is here and the murder mysteries are about to get even harder to solve. Series 12 is arriving on U&Drama<\/a> at 8pm on Monday 25th May.<\/p>\n

The BBC\u2019s beloved wildlife series returns with an exciting new location: The Crom Estate in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. Chris Packham and Michaela Strachan host live, while Iolo Williams will be roving around the UK to bring audiences a diversity of wildlife stories from spectacular locations. As ever, the series continues its mission to inspire, engage and captivate, giving us an intimate look at the joy and wonder of spring wildlife as it plays out across the UK. The latest series from Adolescence creator Jack Thorne has already won over an army of fans and the next two episodes are coming this week. The rom-com (of sorts) introduces us to Anna (Keeley Hawes), a devoted nun who\u2019s deeply committed to her faith and the wider community, and David (Paapa Essiedu) a Catholic priest who\u2019s equally devoted to his church. Both have made a lifelong vow to commit themselves to God, which isn\u2019t quite so easy when they fall in love with one another. Continues on Channel 4<\/a> at 9pm on Tuesday 26th May.<\/p>\n

The Four Seasons\"the<\/p>\n

Tina Fey\u2019s show about three couples \u2013 Tina\u2019s Kate and Jack (Will Forte), Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver) and Nick (Steve Carell) and Claude (Marco Calvani) and Danny (Colman Domingo) – who embark on a weekend trip to a lake house quickly became a hit when it debuted last year and finally, it\u2019s back. Picking up after a hard year and the grief of losing Nick, the group attempt to carry on their tradition of vacationing together, now with a baby in tow – and we\u2019re going to see exactly how they fare. Series 2 is arriving on Netflix on Thursday 28th May. <\/p>\n

Apple<\/p>\n

The spin-off of Apple TV+\u2019s acclaimed space race drama For All Mankind is here at last. The new series will expand the world of the original and take us back to the key moment in the alternative-history retelling of the space race – when the Soviet Union became the first nation to put a man on the moon. This time, however, the series explores the story from behind the Iron Curtain, showing the lives of the cosmonauts, the engineers and the intelligence officers embedded among them in the Soviet space program, and the risks they took to propel humankind forward. Anna Maxwell Martin and Rhys Ifans are among the cast. Arriving on Apple TV on Friday 29th May. <\/p>\n

The genius that is Russell T Davies (It\u2019s A Sin, Years and Years) is about to earn our adoration all over again with this searing exploration of the most corrosive forces facing the LGBTQ+ community today. Alan Cumming is Leo, the vivacious owner of a bar in Manchester\u2019s Gay Village, while David Morrissey is Clive, Leo\u2019s neighbour. The two have lived next door to each for a decade and always got along fine, but then something shifts, which changes their relationship for good. One of the best shows this year. Arriving on Channel 4 on Sunday 31st May.<\/p>\n
