{"id":501390,"date":"2026-05-25T06:14:10","date_gmt":"2026-05-25T06:14:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/501390\/"},"modified":"2026-05-25T06:14:10","modified_gmt":"2026-05-25T06:14:10","slug":"linkedin-expands-tools-to-limit-low-quality-ai-generated-content","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/501390\/","title":{"rendered":"LinkedIn expands tools to limit low-quality AI-generated content"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LinkedIn is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/pulse\/keeping-conversations-real-linkedin-laura-lorenzetti-9821e\/\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">increasing<\/a> efforts to limit the spread of low-quality AI-generated content on its platform, as the professional networking site responds to growing concerns over automated posts and fake profiles.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the platform said the rise of what it described as \u2018AI slop\u2019 &#8211; low-effort AI-generated content that appears polished but lacks original perspective or substance &#8211; is making it harder to maintain authentic professional conversations online.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile AI can be a helpful tool for refining language, we\u2019re seeing a rise in what many call \u2018AI slop,\u2019 content that is low-effort, AI-generated content that may sound polished on the surface but lacks any real unique perspective or substance,\u201d the platform noted.<\/p>\n<p>It is introducing technology systems developed with its editorial team to identify generic or repetitive AI-generated content. The systems are trained to detect signals of content that lacks perspective, context or expertise, even if it appears polished.<\/p>\n<p>The measures will also target comments created and posted at scale using automation tools with little or no human involvement, as well as responses that restate original posts without adding new information.<\/p>\n<p>The content that appears to be AI-generated and lacks clear perspective will be less likely to be distributed widely beyond a user\u2019s immediate network.<\/p>\n<p>Early testing showed its systems were correctly identifying generic content 94% of the time.
