It\u2019s terrible for the environment, it steals people\u2019s work without consent, it can be used to produce nasty deepfakes\u2013I could go on, but I\u2019m already preaching to the choir here. However, even with all this in mind, I think I have finally discovered one genuine benefit for the technology; over the weekend, I watched it bork the transcription of a fake WWE news channel so hard that it made me laugh until my ribs hurt.<\/p>\n
To be completely upfront with you, there is a chance you might have seen a few of these clips floating around already, as this was spotted by the likes of Futurism<\/a> and Vinesauce<\/a> earlier this month. However, one specific clip started popping up on X again recently, thanks to video game content creator Larry Bundy Jr.<\/a><\/p>\n An automated A.I. WWE news channel on YouTube tries to pronounce “WWE” as a word and ends up going insane!\ud83e\udd23 pic.twitter.com\/wV7ZpXdCdh<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 “Guru Larry” Bundy Jr (@LarryBundyJr) May 23, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n I assume you have some questions after watching that, like, for instance, \u201cwhat was it even trying to say in the first place, and how did it mess it up that badly?\u201d According to the people who actually use AI in the comments<\/a>, this is actually a pretty common mistake that AI transcription software makes when it attempts to produce acronyms.<\/p>\n In this case, the AI tool the YouTube account in question was using tried to pronounce \u201cWWE,\u201d and, for whatever reason, the AI decided to produce a sound more akin to Donald Duck getting waterboarded.<\/p>\n Unfortunately, I have some terrible news; seemingly just after Larry Bundy Jr.\u2019s post took off, the channel that was producing the AI slop started deleting its videos. Well, actually, that\u2019s more good news than bad. They\u2019ll probably be keeping a closer eye on what the AI bot spits out from this point onwards. Thankfully, lots of people in the comments clipped the funniest examples beforehand, like, for example, whatever the hell this<\/a> was supposed to be.<\/p>\n \n
